As of mid-2019, the U.S. market has seen considerable competition from biosimilars in supportive oncology care. The next U.S. biosimilar frontier is therapeutic oncology care, where Genentech’s big trio—Rituxan, Herceptin and Avastin—will likely attempt to hold their ground against biosimilars.
