Why Consulting was a Smart Choice for San Francisco Principal Albert

When he joined ZS’s San Francisco office in 2005, Principal Albert was one of only a few ZSers who held a PhD. And while consulting wasn’t the career path he intended grad school to lead him to, in retrospect, he’s glad it did.

Albert’s background in engineering and operations research led him to start working on a data warehousing project and, before he knew it, life was leading him and his wife to New York City.

The East Coast, also nicknamed the “pharma corridor,” offered Albert a bevy of new opportunities. While in ZS’s New York office, he gained exposure to a large number of pharmaceutical companies ranging from small startups to big-name, global players. With marketing analytics work at his core, he began working primarily with clients on forecasting, market research and marketing measurement projects and, in 2009, he helped establish our Patient-Level Data Expertise Center.
