The people you meet and connections you make are undoubtedly two of the best parts about working in a professional setting. When I walked into ZS on my first day, I knew my fellow ZSers would impact my summer internship experience, but I didn’t know just how positive that impact would be.
Outside of our project work, there were a number of events organized for the interns – from volleyball games to happy hours to boat rides. I especially loved the intern “laZSer” tag event, which actually took place in the Princeton office! The interns formed a team and battled our way through the competition. These events gave us an opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed setting.
Beyond having fun, my fellow interns and ZSers have offered an immense amount of support this summer. From the first few days when we were learning the ropes and especially as we’ve started our project work – ZSers are always available to answer questions and provide feedback.
The professional and personal relationships I’ve made through ZS have made my summer intern experience more valuable than I could have ever imagined.
