As part of this year’s ZS Campus Beats program, the firm introduced the new ZS Case Challenge to test the sales and marketing expertise of students interested in joining our global consulting firm.
Students were ready to tackle the challenge, which presented a real-life sales and marketing scenario, following 27 on-campus India-wide recruiting sessions and a virtual soft skills webinar. These activities attracted a combined total of over 9,000 challenge participants.
More than 1,000 teams from over 25 of the top schools across India submitted their Case Challenge solutions in early April. After a very thorough evaluation, ZS leaders chose the top 10 solutions and invited teams to visit our Pune office for an all-day workshop.
The ZS Case Challenge Workshop opened with a networking dinner and a brief introduction to the firm and our values from members of our leadership team, HR director and campus alumni.
During the interactive workshop, the top 10 teams of students participated in sessions to gain insights on effective storyboarding, creative representation of data, accelerated learning, the firm’s growth story and the day-to-day experiences of current ZSers in our capability groups.
Following the sessions, the teams presented their innovative solutions to a panel of ZS leaders. The team from NSIT, Alice in Chains, emerged as the winner with teams from COEP and PEC coming in as close runners-ups.
