In his search for project experience, Toronto intern found new friends

“What color were the umbrellas in the sky?” was the last question we needed to answer as part of a no-holds barred scavenger hunt on the Toronto Islands. It was a drizzling Thursday afternoon, but it was the summer event for ZS’s office in Toronto.

ZSers are known for their friendly competitive spirit, so every team had carefully developed a strategy during the ferry ride to the island. Some teams started with the easier challenges, some went straight for the highest point challenges and others went straight to the patio for a drink. Regardless of approach, we all ended the hunt slightly wet, tired and confused as to what color the umbrellas were or why they were in the sky. It was an incredibly enjoyable day and an opportunity to get to know my colleagues on a more personal level.
